Everything to Know About WhatsApp’s Latest Update About Animated Stickers by GIPHY

WhatsApp, one of the most famous messaging apps by Meta, has launched a new update this week, and they have introduced animated stickers from GIPHY. A popular platform, GIPHY, that was previously owned by Meta.

WhatsApp gets animated stickers from GIPHY

Meta mentioned in a blog post, “  We’ve partnered with GIPHY to bring their extensive collection of stickers directly to WhatsApp. This integration lets you find and share relevant and engaging stickers, without having to leave the app. To access these stickers, simply tap the sticker icon and search using text or emoji.”

Before, the users could still stay in the app and use GIFs by GIPHY but now they will be able to expand the use of GIFs and animated stickers. Users can simply type their desired keywords and find relevant animated stickers.

Moreover, Like IOS, Meta WhatsApp is bringing Custom Sticker Maker on android devices. Users can use their photos and create desired stickers from them and they can also customize the existing ones.

The Meta AI integration is also a benefit for the GIF lovers. If you don’t have an animated sticker before and you need it right at the moment, you can also use the Meta AI to create stickers for you.

The AI sticker feature is available only to iPhone and Androids users living in the United States at the moment.
